Matthew’s Virginia Rooftop Portraits - McLean, VA Modeling Photos
I was so happy when Matthew reached out to me to see if I could photograph him on his rooftop! Portrait sessions are so much fun! You get to try new things and have a whole lot of fun with the client. The photoshoot took place in McLean, VA, right next to Tysons Corner. It’s hard to know what the location was going to look like, since I’ve never been there before, but after getting his thoughts we came up with some great spots that were away from the crowd and that made him more comfortable and focused with being himself. I’m not big into forced poses. I prefer more natural and fun poses that way it doesn’t look so staged and unnatural. Of course all clients need direction, but once Matthew got the feel for it we could’ve gone all night shooting!
I really loved this photoshoot and I so can’t wait to do more!
