Hailey & Titus' Virginia Home Wedding Photos - Fort Belvoir VA Wedding
Oh how my niece is growing up so fast! So since my niece found out, somehow and someway, that I photograph weddings, she asked me if I could photograph her wedding on Valentine’s Day. I said of course and that it’ll only cost her twenty grand haha. Of course my niece knew I was kidding and that I’d do it for her in a heartbeat. But why did they have to pick the coldest day of the year haha?
So, early in the super cold morning, everyone (minus the photographer—me) waited outside the courthouse so that they could be the first ones in since apparently it gets super packed on Valentine’s Day. Well when they finally opened we walked into this really cute chapel that the employees dressed up really nice with lots of Valentine’s Day decorations. It was really nice and sweet for them to do that. Not the best environment for photography, but it’s my niece and I was super happy to photograph it for her. So after the ceremony I took Hailey & Titus around the corner to a nice little park for some portraits, Unfortunately it was so cold that Titus could not stop shivering and so we had to do the outside portraits super quick and super short. It was too bad as we could’ve had so much fun with it had it been a lot warmer. After we finally warmed up in the car my sister and Titus’ mom decorated the house super super well! I was super impressed by how well it looked! Well needless to say we had an excellent time and I’m so so happy I got to photograph my niece’s wedding!
