Douglas Macgregor, Colonel U.S. Army (Retired), Ph.D. Studio Headshot Photos - Studio Headshot Portraits
I had the great honor of photographing Douglas Macgregor, Colonel U.S. Army (Retired), Ph.D. in my studio/apartment. Macgregor is an author, a consultant, and a senior fellow with The American Conservative. He served a presidential appointment as a Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Defense and he was appointed to the advisory board of the United States Military Academy at West Point, his alma mater.
Macgregor also does a lot of commentary for the media. Most recently, he spoke on Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s podcast called RFK Jr Podcast:

So a very funny story…when I went to the lobby of my apartment to meet Macgregor and bring him back to my studio/apartment, I saw that he was dressed in shorts and a t-shirt and he had his suit on a hanger. Well as we started walking, he told me that as he was waiting for me in the lobby, one of my neighbors came up to him and asked if he was here to pick up the dry cleaning. I never felt so embarrassed haha, but thankfully he took it very very well and we had a good laugh about it! But oh my gosh haha!
Once Macgregor put his suit on, the photoshoot went pretty quick as I already had all my lights and backdrop setup and ready to go. Now it was just a matter of what pose did he like best. I believe we took around 44 photos and he selected three of his favorites for editing and downloading.
I had such an amazing time photographing Macgregor and I so cannot thank him enough for letting me capture his headshot!
